The Cabana Suites is the sassy younger sister to the eC, El Cortez Hotel and Casino, a true Las Vegas establishment. It is located just across Odgen Avenue at 600 East Fremont Street.
Opened in 1941, the El Cortez is the longest continuously-running property in all of Las Vegas. Las Vegas legend and old-timer Jackie Gaughan purchased the property in 1963, and to this day resides in the penthouse of the El Cortez. Mr. Gaughan and everyone in the El Cortez family maintains a commitment to strengthening Downtown Las Vegas.
